Standard Tentec VFO wear. Needs a rebuild. Kit from TenTec about $23, takes about 3 hours to do the first one. Sometimes cleaning and regreasing works, but my CorsairII had a very worn ball reduction section that was replaced by the one from the rebuild kit and it works super now. 73, Jerry, K0CQ -- Entire content copyright Dr. Gerald N.
