Check the rig with trusted power meter running into a dummy load of 50 ohms. IF you are getting more than the 80 watts of so most report as normal Output, adjust the rig to proper drive level. It could also be additive SWR power re adding to the normal forward power, but your reported figure seems a bit on high side for this. My other statement stands to check the feedline length re quarter wave odd multiples on 40m. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
