I think you should not leave the Omni VI off your list. Its resale will be in your range, when you decide. Its crystal mixing scheme is still a better receiver than anything else except a K2 perhaps. But am not sure why you have a computer rig as the second on your list. Much of that functionality is also in the new Argonaut V, and it and an Omni VI would make a great pair of stations, one to contest at home, one for vacations and mobile. Or make that Omni VI and K2, same deal. The Argo V ability to add new bands, and upgrade DSP makes it a great renewable rig. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
