All, FYI,
Page 4-28, last paragraph, has several omissions and a potentially
damaging mistake. Things are okay up to and including the sentence,
"While watching the meter, rotate first the bias pot R15 and then the
driver bias pot R19 to produce minimum current." But from there on it's
wacko, and leaves the resting current on the driver stage set at a
destructive ten-fold too high setting of 500 ma. (Depending upon your
interpretation of the confusion).
Things following that sentence should read as follows:
1. Rotate the driver pot for a 50 ma increase (above that minimum, or
'quiescent' reading).
2. Rotate the final pot for a 500 ma additional reading on the meter.
The rest is all right in the manual.
