Well, I have commented before. I run the FT1000D from Aruba, an excellent
rig (P40GH). I came hope to my new Jupiter in December 2000 and very
quickly found it was every bit as good as the Yaesu. Currently in my shack
are the TS2000, neat radio, FT847, OK, and my Corsair I, TS180s,Ts940sat,
and the list goes on. The best audio reports are from the Corsair, more
punch, great sound. I run this with the 705 desk mic and about 15/20 Dbs
of compression, yes I have the 8 pole filter in the front end. My favorite
is the Jupiter because of easy quite listening. I don't have to think
about how to make changes in functions, everything is pretty easy. I do
90% faceplate operation and 10% with N4PY software. I have the ILG
software data base loaded for SWL. Jerry
