Anthony,
I'm sorry I don't have any "technical" suggestions, but you might want
to open it up and make sure all million and one of the little plugs are
firmly in place.  I've found they sometimes loosen up during shipment.

Just got my Omni V back from Ten-Tec Thursday of last
week which was in for check/alignment, and just tried
transmitting today, and noticed a problem on CW. Seems
QSK isn't QSK'ing! It's most noticable on dots. Power
drops down to near 0. ALC is lit as if it's
transmitting, but there's intermittent power drop
outs. I was making a few calls during the contest, and
getting strange responses. I wondered why and looked
at the watt meter, and this is why! Anyone had this
problem before? Any ideas would be appreciated!
