The Scout, being a small radio, can be mounted by something so simple as an angled piece of board or ply wood with bungee cords to hold the radio case to the board at a convenient angle for viewing the panel and control operation with radio angled up from the car floor. The TT mount is a simple U shaped piece of metal with holes cut out for the feet of the Scout to poke thru. You could home build something similar from aluminum sheet, or mild steel with the bending brake at a local machine shop. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
