The simplest power setting remoting mod is to unsolder the internal pot used to set power thru screwdriver hole on bottom of radio. Run three conductor flat cable from the 3 holes on board out the back panel. Mount a bracket there to hold the pot, or sub a thru panel small linear pot for the original. Mount a knob or use screw driver adjustment, and you have it. The 3 conductor flat cable in 26 gauge easily goes thru the space between the cover and back panel. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
