would have both a spare TX and two really decent
general coverage RX's to boot.
565/340 = 1 TX + 3 RX (2 general coverage and 1 ham
band only)
565/565 = 2 TX + 4 RX (2 general coverage and 2 ham
band only)
So with two Orion?s you actually get an extra TX and
RX. If top notch SWL performance is the main
requirement then yes the RX-340 looks to be the better
choice.
