I cannot believe that I missed this piece back in April!
I have to believe this is "post-dated", hi. In any case,
if I did overlook same, I parroted much the same info
in my email posted to this group back on 5/17/03 .
Piece was titled by me, "Rohde & Schwartz and the
IC-7800." Note that Dr. Jerry wrote a follow up note
a correcting my arithmetic in one spot.
Am surprised that Doug's post was not brought to my
attention by someone in response......whatever, Doug
has done a better explaining job than I did, hi.
