Digi-Key makes custom battery assemblies that you can install in the Ten-Tec case. Likely they originally were 450 mah AA nicads in a group of 6 or 8, mostly like two layers of 3 or 4 all series connected. Digi-Kay has a standard part number for that assembly in their catalog. I don't know if it shows up in their on-line catalog. And has very good prices too. 73, Jerry, K0CQ -- Entire content copyright Dr. Gerald N. Johnson, electrical engineer.
