Far be it from me to deflect discussion from the Orion and nanohertz
accuracy but I have a question related to older technology.
It is my understanding that the Omni V and VI both use the same Synergy
Microwave CMP-A12 mixer. The archives suggest that this is a 17 dBm device
but I have been unable to find detailed specs.
My question is - has anyone experimented with other mixers? The
Mini-Circuits units with useable frequency response (e.g. RAY-3 a 23 dBm
device??) are expensive but look very interesting.

Anyway - just a thought. Thanks in advance!

Rick
