The Giovanni site provides several magazine reviews. The one that counts is
noted antenna modeler and experimenter L. B. Cebik's, W4RNL. L. B. tells it
like it is,
"a very small SWL antenna" for all bands. It is a LOSSY antenna below 20m
especially, due to the included resistor. Its main benefit is for SWL
reception.
The price is now $459, and you have to do considerable assembly including
soldering wires!
I believe I saw one once at ham fest on top an RV. If you only have that
small a space, then it might be something but you could duplicate it from L.
B.'s diagram and review at considerably less cost. There is also the
freight to consider from Italy, import duty etc.
Why not just make a 44 foot doublet fed in center with open wire line? Use
a tuner and have no resistive loss on bands? You could even Z fold such an
antenna into about the space of this import.
The resistive wide coverage antennas are used for some military and FEMA
type operations where they run enough power to burn up some in a lossy
resistor in the middle of part of the antenna. You give up something to get
low SWR, not a very good trade off, when it is power going to heat.
