I just downloaded and scanned quickly through George's presentation. I don't
see any mention of AGC. Also, this device looks at the transmitted signal.
AGC only affects the received signal. As I understand the presentation the
PSKMETER monitors the transmitted RF, the software analyzes the signal and
adjusts the soundcard audio out level to drive the tranmitter so that the
signal is maxed out without overdriving.  Again, I don't see what AGC has to
do with it.  Could you be confusing ALC (tranmitter output level control)
with AGC?
