The 280 does have the crowbar circuitry. It also has current limiting. It
is about the same circuitry as the model 255 speaker/power supply that
matches the old Omni rigs. In color, it does match the 580 Delta. It uses
two pass transistors. It is a VERY GOOD supply and will operate from 120 or
240 volts. If I needed one, I'd be on that one like a duck on a June bug.
