The "load" (radio + lead) connects to the blade with the "2" on it.... the "line" or + connection from the power supply connects to the "line" side. Placement of a series trip magnetic breaker in a base application shouldn't really matter as it senses current.... unlike in a vehicle with lots of potential ground sources where it's appropriate to fuse both + and - leads as near to the battery as possible.
