You dont need all that power supply muscle. I have two Herc II's, have used 
them in many contests, here in the U.S. and DX. I use a deep cycle marine 
battery and a inexpensive 10 amp battery charger . The duty cycles of CW and 
SSB 
allow it.  The battery energy is replaced between transmissions. Yes, even when 
working a pileups. Thought I would input this if you need a quick and simple 
way to power a truly fine amplifier.            73 NOEL  W9EFL
