MOST PSK 31 programs are set up to key the rig via a control line from the Push to Talk pin. If you left vox ON, and a mike was plugged into the rig, loud noise in the room could key the transmit irregardless of what the PSK 31 program was trying to do. Check to see if this is your problem.
