Use the Tentec 705 desk mikes as it is always off unless the PTT button is
pressed or the PTT lock is pressed on the mike. Therefore, there is no
concern with room noise getting into the audio. The VOX control works just
fine as long as the VOX parameters are set correct for the mode being used.
Now about the stupid ding dong Windows thing from the computer, well that's
another issue. Be sure it is turned off.
