Duffy,
The program saves all the memories from the Jupiter or Argo V or Orion in a
CDF file. This is an ascii text file that you can edit to add more memories
if you like. If you then want to use the N4PY RMY memory files, you can
import the CDF file. This will convert to a binart RMY file and allow you
to use it normally as a program memory file.
The CDF memory format does not currently support split memories.

Subject: [TenTec] N4PY Memory Handling
Carl,
Questions other may be interested in. I know your software can read/write
memories to the Argonaut V, Jupiter and Orion and I have used that function
with the Argo and the Jupiter.
However, can it read the radio's memories and then store those memories in
the N4PY Program's own files? Right now it seems that if I want to access
the radio's memories, I have to do that from the radio itself. Or, to
access memories from the program, I have to use the program's memories. I
have never found out how I can access the radio's memories from the program.
Second question, why can't the program read and write split memory files? I
tried it on the Argo and it will only handle a non-split memory file.
Thanks,
Duffy
