Hello, The Ten Tec Centurion manual states that although it can be wired for 120V, 220-240 is STRONGLY recommended as it can draw as much as 30 amps AC at 120V which may be a wiring / fire hazard unless you have a pretty new home with modern wiring in it. I bought a heavy duty 10 guage 3 wire extension cord and wired into my dryer outlet to run mine. It ran the Centurion nicely. Better safe than sorry. 73. _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
