"Long Before?!?!" Uhhhhhh, Ken, I've only been a ham since 1976 and Ten*Tec
was incredibly cool even then.
Look at a Triton IV Digital next to a TS-520 or FT-101 if you don't believe
me. I can't even mention the awful Icom HF rigs of that period. IC-701?
Heck we didn't know what phase noise was, we just thought it had a doorknob
for a receiver.
Ten*Tec made the only radios with STYLE. (But I'm one of the Ten*Tec
"clones" so nobody listens to me anyways)
