My post was comparing a BARE 8 foot whip without loading issues to shortened doublets and half wave dipoles. I even stated that other losses are in the system when you use the tuner and transmission line. It is well known that placement of lossy loading inductors in a whip system at differing points changes the amount of inductance and hence loss.
