TenTec Folks:

I have been using a Heil micro-proset with the HC4 element on my OMNI VI/3
for several years with great audio reports and have begun using the same
headset with HC4 element on my Orion and receiving great audio reports.

The Heil HC4 and HC5 elements are down by 10db compared to the usual OEM
mike so you just need to crank up the mike drive and that should take care
of it.

I can drive my Orion to full output very easily with the HC4 and get great
audio reports.

Am I just lucky???
