That's an interesting concept, but one not in use here {to the best of my
knowledge} in PPL (PA Power & Light) country. PPL IS doing remote meter
reading. Whether controlling peak demand as you describe or reading meters,
the
Power Line Communications is occasional--unlike BPL which is constant and
continuous.
