Thanks for all the responses... lots of programs out there for the CW 
op and I will investigate all of them.  Here's a summary of what I 
learned from all of you:
Software programs:
   WinCW -- from Stehen Stuntz, N0BF

   MixW
   DXbase
   CWType & CWGet
   Writelog
   TR Log
   NA
   Hamscope



Hardware solutions:
   K20 CW keyboard by K1EL
   KAM Plus
   LOGic6
   MixW (with simple transistor circuit)
   MFJ keyboard keyer, MFJ-493
   WinKey CW Keyer

and of course, a regular key or keyer!
