For Hotel/Motel use, I used to take a 65 foot wire, put a weight on the end,
and throw this out the window as best as I could. I would then simply run
this end fed wire through a tuner and run my Heathkit HW-8 with 2 watts this
way. I usually did not get into too much trouble when I did this.
