Omni Six modified to "Plus" with factory option 3 upgrade. Beautiful
condition - a solid "10" with no visible marks, wear or blemishes. Facts
about this Omni Six:
- Full output on all bands.
- Works as expected with no glitches, unusual mannerisms, or needs for
resets.
- Rx input mod incorporates 1KW H.F. MicroSemi PIN diodes in the T/R
circuit. This improves the main-to-aux antenna isolation to better than 80
dB (yes, really).
- Transmit CW waveshape mod to the ALC circuit to improve rise/fall symmetry
- Transmit BFO circuit crystals changed to temperature stable units from JAN
which results in a clean and chirpless transmit CW signal.
- CW monitor circuit mods for totally clickless and thump-free keying.
- Receiver passband board modified per Ulrich Rhode with Hewlett-Packard
glass PIN diodes. Diode bias optimized.
- With Manual and power cable but may need to secure a shipping carton from
Ten-Tec.
