This morning my pride and joy Hercules II decided to fail. Upon a key snappy 30
wpm QRL? it gave back a key-down 500W rather than a keyed QRL? !
Suspecting something in the control board but not having checked it out any
further (and Tentec service being apparently on vacation), I would ask other
Herc II owners if they have had this symptom and the fix.

By the way, the Titan amp that had sat unused for five years just powered up
fine with no smoked capacitors. I will be moving it onto the console soon
to replace the troubled Herc II.
