BTW, back on the issue you mentioned on the CQ-Contest reflector
(which I responded to but has not yet been posted), did you notice the
following in 1.367?
12/19/03 Version 1.367

Perhaps this explains why you are seeing a 2 second delay in the display
update when changing bands, frequencies, A/B, etc and I see well under
1 second. I make it a habit to always upload the latest firmware
revision. If there is a problem, it is very simple to reinstall the
previous version. So far, I have had no reason to do so.

I updated to 1.367 just as soon as it was available. Like you, I
believe in giving folks a chance by keeping upto date. Unfortunately,
1.367 wasn't useable for me because of the problem with rough sidetone
which it reintroduced. I only used 1.367 for a day and had many
instances of the zizzy sidetone so I reverted to 1.366 and mailed Gary
at ditsnbits to make him aware of the problem. I had no direct response
but I gather that's the norm, so I don't know what's happening with it.
Though, I do know I am not the only one experiencing the sidetone
problem under 1.367 as other folks have mailed me confirming that it
caused them the same problem. Are you not seeing the sidetone problem
with 1.367?
