I did the inrad filters when I got my VI+ before I knew that it was a mod.
It just seemed to me that the radio was a bit tight. I really like how it
changed the passband. Then at Dayton I found out about the audio mod and
installed it. Again an improvement. I felt the same way, that the $15 was
mostly for educational purposes.
