i noticed that since day one... engaging either the split or vox dims my lights.
    if you turn on both functions the dial gets even dimmer....
     yet if you xmit at full power the lights don't dim with that load....

i actually looked at the schemo last year, but got distracted,

my argonauts don't do that.

Hi Guys,

Has anyone has their S meter and LED display lighting
dim randomly upon occasion? The S meter lamps and LED
digits both are tied to the display driver board which
accepts serial commands from the logic board. If I
hold the LOCK key until CHOOSE displays then tap it to
clear the display returns to normal intensity. Has
anyone seen this or found a cure outside of cleaning
the driver board connectors?
