The plate current should be kept below 0.8A which is the lower end of the
"black line".  Grid current should be kept below 260 ma which is the lower
end of the "red line" on the meter.

With the transceiver in tune, adjust the amplifier TUNE control for max
output and adjust loading for a final value of grid current between 240 and
260 ma.  Then readjust TUNE for max output.  Increase drive from the
transceiver as necessary but so as not to exceed 260 ma of grid current.
These numbers should produce some 1200 to 1400 watts output.

keep the plate ampers on for good operation .   I can not find a mention of
this in the manaul .  thanks  John
