I have tested mine with ver 1.370 and I believe you're right in that there
is a tiny delay after a dit or dah before the receiver comes back on... So,
I can't here the receiver between the dits... I can only hear the receiver
between letters at about 25 wpm or so... I don't really know how this
compares to ver 3.169 as I didn't pay a lot of attention to the QSK
operation with that version....
It does however seem slower than my Yaesu FT-757 QSK but to me this is very
very minor as hearing signals between dits at 20 wpm or faster I would
likely ignore anyway....
