You know what I mean.  I doubt many run a omni 6+ and a Centurion in their
mobile.  That is what I run in my shack.  I guess with a large generator it
is possable.  My point is that you can sucessfully talk even on 75 mobile
with only 100 watts but in a pileup I doubt you would ever get in!
Obviously a larger antenna and more power makes it easier for others to hear
you.  On 7245 I can talk to W5PUP most any day from my mobile and she is
over 200 miles from where i live and drive.  And, i know what a base station
is.  I have been a land moble dealer for 30 years and most land mobile base
stations are mobile rigs now days!
