[TenTec] SSB NR

Hi, 

Been running my Orion several months now, mostly on cw
with no problems. However, the few times I setup for SSb I find the NR
distorts the signal. It becomes incredibly bassy to the point of
becoming unintelligible. Is there a fix for this or do I have a problem.
I've had the problem in all firmware versions.
