| Bill,
The Jupiter and Omni are not in the same class. The Omni VI+ was about the
best radio on the market until the K2 then the Orion came out. (I have
both the Omni-VI and K2). However, I have heard it may have some problems
doing QSK around 40 WPM or greater. Ask around. The cost of a good used
Omni VI+ and a new Jupiter are about the same.

 All,
I need help in making the proper decision. I''m just a 90% CW, casual
contester, occasional DXer, barefoot/dipole kinda guy. I like doing QSK
at maybe 40
wpm max. Most important, I like to work QRP and pull the weak ones out of
the noise. Never owned a Ten Tec. I want to try one.

Do I want to start with a Jupiter or Omni?
If Omni, Which model? And why? Advice will be appreciated.
