The ALC voltage is generated by diodes which are on the same board as the
SWR diodes. If working there, replace them all.
To add to Mike's excellent advise, you might also change out all the
small electrolytic bypass caps you find on the final AMP pc board.
When these dry up, instability begins...
(after all, the age of this rig is close to 25 years)
