Thanks for the info John. I appreciate it.

I'm certainly not questioning what your doing John, I just don't fully understand it. Can you please tell me why you have BOTH loop 1 and loop 2 turned on? Have you done any testing in Key Loop 1, using CW in full QSK? And have you done any testing using Key Loop 2, using CW in full QSK? I know you say it works fine for you in SSB, but my problem is the Orion will randomly stop putting out RF when using the Titan 3 in either Keying Loop 1 or Keying Loop 2. I have never operated it with both keying loops turned on since I only have the Orion connected to one Titan 3.

Certainly would appreciate more information.

Thanks John.

I have Loop one and loop 2 turned on and the Titan 3
has worked for a year .I don't remember which Orion
Ruf I was using when I first got my Titan3 but the
Amp has worked with
with all the Orion updates over the last year
including 1.372
and qsl properly connected TxEN and
TxOUT cables.

I don't know if the problem is just with CW, but
since you have no
problems with the keying loop, it certainly would
seem like a CW
only problem. I have only tried SSB with the Orion
and Titan one
time for a short QSO.

This is very interesting as you are the first person
in 18 months
that has actually said they are running an Orion and
a Titan 3,
other than myself. Are you using Keying Loop #1 with
your Titan? Did
you have to do anything other than properly connect
the TxEN and
TxOUT cables? What version of firmware are you
running? My
combination DOES work OK using v1.369, but none of
the other
firmware versions.

Any additional info would be greatly appreciated
John.
