I honestly don't think anything is gained by twiddling the AGC Threshold
independently from the front panel RF Gain control. Have at it, but I fear the
perception that there's something to gain (no pun intended) by doing this will
needlessly complicate things for Orion newbies (and oldies).
Just set the threshold low (<1uV) for all AGC speeds and leave it there.
Advance RF Gain just above the point where you can hear the band noise. Done.
