Joe, do yourself a favor and send it to Ten-Tec for an overhaul. The result
will be an outstanding radio which should last for many years.

As Paul said, the Resonate "Pot" will surprise you! It's not a pot at all.
It controls the movement of a little elevator which moves up and down,
tuning the coils of several stages of the RX.

Joe,

If you think the resonate "pot" is shot, you are in for a whale of a
surprise when you open the top cover! Trust me.

I'm sure a few other Triton IV fans got a smile out of that.

The still-copy written manuals are available from those fine folk in
Tennessee. They will still work on that 30 year old beauty, too.

Hello,
glad I caught the thread. I have a Triton 1V Digital I just picked up. I
need a PTO rebuild and several of the dual use pots need replacing, for
instance the Resonate pot is shot it bit the dust the other day and now
I can't hear anything. So do I have to go to Ten Tec to get the
replacement pots and the PTO rebuild kit or do you know a part # for all
the pots and a supplier like Digi Key?
any info is appreciated, thanks
