OK, Tnx Ken.  You've given me a couple of points to watch out for.
I'll be sure and clean the cable contacts.
And I'll have a near by ham check for harmonics, compared to my other amp.

Just wonder if any of the other guys have had any experience or can offer
any tips.

Hi Rick,

I just heard one report, from one ham, who said an HA14 he had was a 
spur generator. With the bias supply in a separate box, dirty contacts 
on interconnecting cables could easily result in improper or 
inconsistant bias. Maybe he had a problem such as that, which made his 
HA14 dirty.  I'm sure you will be able to get good results. Enjoy.
