Hi to all.
Let me add my 2 cents worth on this cable problem. I cut the mic cable
about a foot back of the mic body ,spliced in a 4 foot section of radio
shack
mic cable and did a careful solder job of the wires ,end to end ,slid
a tiny section of shrink tube over each connection and a larger section
over the cable
shrunk the tubeing and had a nice ,professional looking splice on the
cable. It was just slightly larger than the cable itself. Did the
same thing on the other end ... end of problem. Don't look for Heil 4
or 5 pin XLR looking connectors ,you will not find them easily.
