Hello,

You will greatly enjoy the Orion on CW.

for DSP Settings, I never use the NR, In a tight situation I'll use the notch.

Mostly I use the hi cut and low cut and band width,

I preferr the Inrad 600 hz filter in the 1Khz filter position and leave the 500 hz filter off,

Once in a while, I'll kick in the 250 hz filter.

For CW and my preferences, I get along pretty well.

Thanks

I'd like to know what other Orion CW ops use as settings for the DSP.

I've got the optional 500 Hz filter.

On the RX menu, what are optimal settings for:

AGC HANG

DECAY

THRESHOLD

On the FILTR menu, what is the function of selecting "taps" and how

many are optimal for DX-ing (contesting is secondary.)

On the CW menu, what is the optimal setting for CW rise/fall?
