The October QST review is fairly positive
on non-QSK CW excluding the internal keyer
(also true for Orion's IMHO). Apparently using
the Delta 44 card makes a huge difference on CW.

"The M-Audio Delta 44 is the officially recommended PCI bus sound card for
the SDR-1000. It provides the required 4 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs
at 24-bit sampling rates of up to 96KHz. Its very low latency ASIO drivers
allow high speed CW and fast TR transition times."

         ARRL's CW receive comments were
very nice. Since I don't use QSK for many
reasons, the lack of it was not a concern to
me. Reading the latest review I was very
impressed with the progress they're making.
