Just bought a used 257 voice module, to use in my paragon.. It works fine,
however after
powering down the radio, the module will drain the memory backup battery in a
matter of a
few minutes, prior to the installation of the board, there was no battery drain
problem..
Seem to recall that there was a simple fix for this mentioned recently,
something like
replacing a few caps or a diode?... Does anyone recall what this was?... Also
am looking
for a schematic and written info on the 257...
