[TenTec] question on orion firmware

Hello,
 
New to the group and just been reading a lot on the Orion vs the Orion II. Do 
you guys think anyone else might be able to pickup on and update the firmware 
on the Orion once Ten-Tec moves exclusively to the Orion II? Im just wondering 
if some things might get fixed on the Original as others work on the firmware 
software and release new updates? Is that even possible? If its already been 
discussed I do apologize. 73 and thanks for the bandwidth.
