Yep. I've had mine since mid May (bought new at
Dayton) and I love it. I bought the matching VHF rig,
the 6N2, and have been equally impressed.

That doesn't sound like operator error to me. It
sounds like a problem with your rig. I agree -- call
Ten Tec tomorrow. They will definitely put it right
in short order.
