Yes, you're absolutely correct.  I'm a programmer and there are ways to
program more than one screen map.
It does add complexity to the code though and they may be avoiding that
until the current beta release is stable (and is actually the production
release)...

George, I generally agree with what you say and the display is also my
lowest priority. Just wanted to comment that nothing prevents a programmer
from having separate algorithms for different display resolutions (or any
other hardware differences), detecting which hardware is present, and
invoking the correct algorithm.
