I have a Pegasus, which is pretty much the same receiver as the Jupiter. I
don't think it would make a particularly good CW contest rig for two main
reasons:

1) the narrowest filter is labelled 300 Hz, but has such wide skirts (2:1)
that it's more like 500 or 600 Hz.

2) there is no front end filtering other than a 15 (or 20) kHz crystal
filter. Any signal that is within this 15 kHz will degrade the Rx
performance, even if it is filtered out by DSP filter.  I'm not aware of any
mods to replace the 15 kHz filter with something narrower.
